Clothing
Avoid loud print and frills and choose solid colours.
The fit of your clothing is important, baggy or excessively tight clothing won’t bring out your best.
Bring four or more of your best fitting professional dresses and tops and bring a few jackets that go with these tops or dresses if you want that desired look.
Bring a top or dress that matches your eye colour if possible.
Consider bringing clothing for a more casual look i.e. Facebook image.
Bring any leather jackets you own.
Bring any clothing you enjoy wearing!

Hair
Take you time to style your hair nicely.
Don’t get a hair cut within three days of your headshot session.
Bring what you use to style your hair and manage flyaways.

Makeup
If you opted for professional makeup my makeup artist will take care of everything at your session.
If you choose to do your own makeup, use a light hand. Your makeup should be natural and blended well.
Lipstick should be your natural lip colour or one shade darker. It should be glossy and not matte. No visible lip liner.
Eyes should be defined but natural. Soft blended eyeliner. No hard edged liquid eyeliner. Neutral coloured eye shadow is usually best. No false eyelashes unless you are used to wearing and applying them. Wear mascara and curl your lashes.
Please bring makeup for retouching.

Jewellery
With headshots the focus is on your face and jewellery can be distracting so I prefer to remove all jewellery.  If you want to wear earrings please make them studs.
If you want jewellery in the shot bring some options.

Glasses
If you wear glasses all the time then they should be in your shots. If you wear a combination of contacts and glasses, then bring your glasses to try in some shots.
If you have different pairs of glasses you wear, bring them so we can try different ones.
